First Lunar bases

Founding

With the race for the Moon launched by the Americans and the Chinese, many space powers succeed in establishing permanent bases on the Moon. The first are American in late 2028 with the Artemis Program, followed very closely by the Chinese in early 2029 and later by the Europeans as well as the other secondary space powers between 2029 and 2035. Private companies having played a big role in the success of the American base, these will gain in influence which will aggravate the corruption problems.
