Military: War

This civil war is the confrontation between, on the one hand, the army loyal to the new government put in place after the Continuation War supported by the Myrran Trade Union and the Zelvan Council. On the other, the qravadoxs rebel forces seeking to free themselves from this new government which it deems illegitimate and some traditionalist factions of Ungus. The main reason for the war comes from the defeat of the Qravadox Directorate which had to cede part of its territory which contained a small qravadox population to the newly formed Free Uriy Commonwealth following its defeat in the Continuation War. At the end of the war, racial tensions will erupt between the two communities with the uriys who will feel revenge towards the qravadoxs after hundreds of years of domination. Other factors will fuel tensions such as the feeling of humiliation of the qravadoxs who had taken very badly the defeat of their former homeland and their incorporation into the Free Uriy Commonwealth which they did not accept.The elements which will accentuate the anger are the change of name of the planets inhabited under the jurisdiction of the new state and the migration policies to bring the uriys to them. Another situation which will be mixed with this civil war is the revolt of a traditionalist part of the population of Ungus who has not accepted planetary unification and the rapid changes which have marked the arrival of new technologies. The event that will set fire to the powder is an attack organized by a supremacist group uriy considered as terrorist, the attack will make a dozen dead qravadoxs. Immediately after, demonstrations will break out, turning into violent riots and finally into urban warfare after a week. Leading the rebellion, a former general of the Qravadox Directorate managed to assemble a little fleet with civilian ships which they armed with stocks from the Qravadox Directorate. This general succeeded in gathering under his banner the forces of the planets known today like Gegeporia, Kleggebore and Ugglog which he assembled for a small fleet. A few months later, taking advantage of the chaos created by the start of hostilities, the traditionalist factions will seize the opportunity to launch a revolt on the capital with weapons secretly provided by the Qravadox Directorate. After a year of fighting, the trend began to reverse with the defeat of the traditionalists on Ungus which will free the government's attention. Indeed, thanks to the support of the Zelvan Council as well as to a lesser extent that of the Myrran Trade Union in expertise and equipments. Thanks to new tactics and commands which had gained experience from numerous skirmishes, the Commonwealth's government was able to launch a widespread counterattack. The rebel forces mostly disintegrated after the rebels defeated at the Battle of Ugglog which saw the destruction or redemption of majority of the rebel navy. These were defenitively defeated during the capture of Gegeporia in September 2432 where the general leading the rebellion was killed in action.
