Uum
Uum (pronounced "You-Um") is a binary star system of a G1 V Yellow Main Sequence Star and a K9 V Orange Main Sequence Star. It is orbited by five planets, the second of which is a habitable world.
The planet is around 45% larger than Arrak. A temperate, highly industrialized world. It is perhaps, not the best first encounter one can have with advanced intelligent life though. What looks to have been a thriving interstellar civilization seems to be in ruins. Its orbital platforms appear to be damaged or looted, with not a single ship in sight. The populace has moved into small rural communities, occasionally raiding the ruined cities for supplies. This miserable race calls themselves the Thü.
In 10,001 AF, it joined the Artervi Republic when offered protection with a degree of autonomy.
