NU-X27

NU-X27 is a somewhat strange K2 V Orange Main Sequence Star system. That is to say it has two gas giants, each roughly ten times the size of the common terrestrial planet, within two AU of its star. Going further out into the system is a barren, rocky world, followed by an asteroid belt, a frozen planet, another asteroid belt, and three ice giants.
What life there in this system is definitely of the abnormal variety. Sprouting from each of the gas and ice giants are giant silvery orbital rings, which censors indicate reach all the way into their cores. The terrestrial planets are also covered in the mercurial substance. There is no real signs of industry or civilization, or even how they seem to communicate. If it weren’t for the orbital rings, they would at first appear to be nothing but metallic ooze.
This species is the current home system of the alien X27 Species.
