NU-X13

NU-X13 is a more surprisingly system than initial scans suggested. NU-X13’s strange, hard to describe light comes from what is known as an Antistar. Composed of a natural fusion of antihydrogen, it is both familiar yet oddly different.   The strange system is home to no planets, though does boast a number of almost artistically warped asteroid belts. These belts are composed almost entirely of Dilithium , a crystal that initial studies reveal that it appears to have more than three dimensions. When subject to high-frequency electro-magnetic fields, which are common in this system, eddy currents are induced in its structure which keep charged particles away from the crystal lattice. This prevents it from reacting with antimatter when so energized, because the antimatter particles never actually touch it. It is likely due to this that these crystals are the only matter that has survived in this system for so long.
