Dilithium
Dilithium is a crystal that it appears to have more than three dimensions. When subject to high-frequency electro-magnetic fields, which are common in this system, eddy currents are induced in its structure which keep charged particles away from the crystal lattice. This prevents it from reacting with antimatter when so energized, because the antimatter particles never actually touch it.
This ability avoid interaction with antimatter makes it extremely useful in the manipulation and storage of antimatter.
