Geography
Kuvin is a K2 V Orange Main Sequence Star with four rocky worlds and three frozen. The third of the rocky worlds is a center of Thu industry.
History
Originally a mining world of the Throne Worlds, it was converted slowly became a heavily industrialized planet. Some of its machinery still dates back to the old empire, allowing the Thü to produce sophisticated devices. The planet’s moon is also habitable and used as the primary breadbasket of the system. Of the explored Thü worlds, Kuvin was the most populated still, and the most willing to join the Republic. A planet of mostly lower and middle-class workers they were largely abandoned by the aristocracy, and had already gone about starting to form a local government when the Artervi first reached out to them.
Since its incorporation into the Republic, Kuvin has once more become a industrial center, The foundries relit and forges fired up to fuel the creation of an armada. A force to never yield, an indominatable fleet to stand against the Enemy. All built with Thu hands, with revitilised Thu shipyards. This fleet might be assembled at Ruth, that might be its home base, but it was built in this star system. The Neutron Lasers, the Missiles, the hull plates and the plasma drives, all made at Kuvin.
The Artervi immigration has been limited due to it not having such a population shortage as many other annexed worlds.
