Khaydarin

Khaydarin is a M4 V Red Dwarf Star with four planets. The closest planet to the start is the only one of note, and of note it is. The surface is covered in Khaydarin Crystal, the system's namesake, which seems to have arrived on the planet on a cataclysmic impact sound 1.2 billion years ago. The crystal has spread across the surface, converting sandstone of all things into more of itself. Strange, almost artistic patterns seem to have been traced across the planet’s surface, making one wonder if perhaps some intelligence was involved with its spread.
