A group of thieves have been making things disappear and they were about to make her credit card disappear, in turn sets off a chain of events

It was probably the first time the town has seen a female fight, though they usually hide during their raids, they saw through their windows how she single handedly defeated all of them without the use of magic.   They have crowned her village hero and wanted her to stay but she didn't want to spoon feed them too much. The village elder tried bribing her with food and money despite her still having her minister and royal fortunes that are untouched and preserved through time. But because of the children hoarding her she had no choice but to stay.   While waiting for them to return so that she can deal with them once and for all, she spends her time teaching the children and telling them about myths she has heard through her travels including the Cat Spirit, Pegasus, unicorns and Dragon .   This also brought magic a little brighter in the town after she told them of how magic saved others and sometimes putting herself in it so as to not seem suspicious but the villagers seems to believe her.   When they came back for a sneaky raid, Gretal manage to intercept them, taking them out behind the villager's back and capturing the leader to be given to the elder so that she can leave despite them genuinely wanting her to stay to have a home but she told them that her home was long gone and she can never have another but will always remember this village and maybe come and visit some time.
