Royal Temple Guard
The Royal Tempe Guard take their name from the House of Glass homeworld, Temple. Though their forces are now mixed from across all of the House of Glass holdings, they still take are proud to be known as the Temple Guard. Taking a wound in the Temple Guard garuntees citizenship rights on the Core World, one of the only House Guards to offer such a position.
Thus, they have no problem filling their ranks with recruits, willing to prove themselves worthy of the House of Glass. They now see action regularly across the Mid Rim, on planets like Sinhala. The House of Glass prefers quantity over quality, and while they do have a draft in place, they are still a majority volunteer fighting force. They rival other house guard forces like the FSDC or the Stars troopers. They are highly professional, with dedicated war colleges for staffing a professional officer corps that is one of the rare meritocarcies within the House of Glass. Service in the Temple guard has also been known to open doors to Waystar or in the Blueforce Division.
The Temple Guard relies heavily on the use of armoured regiments, bolstered by sublight ships purchased from Harrison Armory. These armored units have proven useful in the underground mountain fighting on Sinhala, where they are not threatened from longer range weapons. The Royal Temple guard is also known for their Commando Units, highly trained deep-strike units that have been known to operate outside of official Glass systems regularly. It's even rumored that the Temple Guard has been seen operating alongside Harrison Armory legionaires along the Mid Rim.
