Plasteel

Used extensively in starship construction, Plasteel is lightweight and stronger than regular titanium and steel. It was partially what allows ship to travel through bent time and space used when jumping from system to system, as most other alloys would crumple under the sheer pressure of the jump. It also is able to withstand damage coming in from projectiles and energy weapons.
