Prince Taluk Kur

Prince Taluk Kur is the eldest son of Emperor Hetan. However, his mother was one of the Emperor’s concubines, meaning Taluk is seen as less legitimate than his half-siblings mothered by Empress Loshan.

Physiological Description

Prince Taluk is a tall man, standing at around 6 foot 10 inches, with a very large muscular build. He has grey fur and skin with dark gray coloring along his back, with long dark hair. He has an angular face with strong cheekbones and jawline. He also has deep-set eyes with blue irises and vertical pupils.

Clothing Style

Prince Taluk like most members of the Imperial family tends to dress quite formally, however, he tends to dress much more utilitarian than other members. He also tends to incorporate more militaristic elements like armor, medals, etc into his clothing.

Personal History

Prince Taluk is the eldest son of Emperor Hetan, but, his mother was a concubine and he was not seen as legitimate enough to be made crown prince. However, if his younger brother Prince Yisal -whose mother is the Empress- was not born, Taluk would have likely been made the heir. He was born on Telva like most members of the Imperial Family.
When Prince Yisal was born, Taluk and his mother lost much of their power and influence but still kept their royal status and titles. They also faced a lot more stigma and belittlement.
He is not yet married, but there have been talks of bringing him back to the capital to get married as well as to gain more control over him.

Education

Prince Taluk received a royal education like all of his siblings, however because of his less legitimate status his education was not prioritized. He was eventually sent to learn from military officials and take part in military operations.

Employment

Since Prince Taluk was a young teen, he was sent to observe and take part in military operations as a way for him to learn discipline and loyalty. It was also a way to get him out of the way of Prince Yisal and away from the political power of the courts. Since then he has become one of the top military officials assisting his father in controlling and growing the empire.

Personality Characteristics

Prince Taluk is seen as a very serious and just man, being very good at drumming up loyalty in his troops and maintaining control of his operations. He is outwardly very loyal to the empire as well as to his father and brother.
Some believe that he is a danger to the imperial dynasty due to his military power and status as a son of the emperor; those who believe this are generally supporters of the Empress and Prince Yisal. These are also those who tend to belittle him due to his mother being a concubine.
