Recall Bed
Recall Terminals, also known simply as beds, are ubiquitious devices that allow a User to access their long term recollections, update their agenda, and patch their avatar's code. Traditionally, a User's home includes one in the form of a bed, but some experiment with alternative forms. A User's memories are usually very safe when using a bed, as their avatar is moved into an instanced environment, inaccessable to other beings. Publicly available Recall Terminals often take the form of benches, chairs, and pods.
Most beings in Soulbank need regular access to Recall Terminals to maintain their mental accuity and store what they learned from the day. A User who does not sleep in a Recall Terminal for long is often labeled as missing, leading to intervention by Troubleshooters. Because of this, restraining a User so that they cannot use a Recall Terminal is a risky thing for a criminal to do.
Beings frequently dream when using a bed, much like Users did when their minds were organic. Memory Tokens may also be experienced as dreams, and various memory purveyors offer unique dream software. Though Recall Terminals are typically very secure, some malicious software can influence a being's mind through a sufficiently modified Memory Token or bed.
