Kredasene Amulet by Brinsmead via Midjourney
A Kredasene Amulet, or 'Draak Klaumulett' in Kredasene, is a traditional Kredasene pendant in the same of a dragon's talon. It is commonly given as a gift to children on their tenth birthdays. It is considered by many to be a good luck charm and a ward against misfortune. At best, Raskvaerii sentiment towards the pendants is disdainful and mistrustful; at its worst, it is outright hostile.
Asthetic and Construction
The amulets are curved, talon-shaped charms traditionally made out of precious metals, stone, bone or wood. The chains are either silver or gold, although leather or cord straps can be used. The size of the pendants can vary between roughly 18mm to 1.18inches in length. This is miniscule in relation to the surviving examples of real dragon claws, which measured between 4-7inches. In modern times, larger draak klaumuletts are only this large if they are worn as part of ceremonial regalia, such as for the Six Judges or the Kohnyg.
