Naahlspawn

Naahlspawn are a subspecies between a naahl and a human or elf. They are often feared and antagonized due to their appearance and their heritage, even though they usually do not share the aggressiveness of their naahl side and virtually aren't any different to people of other species.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Naahlspawn are very tall and have a naturally muscular build. They do not share the natural hunch of their naahl ancestors, but usually share their snow white to pitch black skin and hair colors, as well as their longer arms. They have human or elven eyes, which are usually colored blue, green or brown.

A lot, but not all naahlspawn develop bones outside of their bodies. Those who do usually only grow them on their knuckles, elbows and knees.

Genetics and Reproduction

Naahlspawn can only reproduce with other Naahlspawn. Their pregnancies last for six months.

Growth Rate & Stages

Naahlspawn reach puberty at the age of ten, during which they develop their exterior bones, if at all. They reach adulthood at twenty and are fully developed by then. Around the age of sixty they start to lose their hair if they stem from a human mother, or just lose the color of their hair if born from an elven mother.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

While naahlspawn with a human mother do not share the heat vision of other naahls, elven naahlspawn have a unique combination of heat vision and aetherial sight, which allows them to see in the dark.
