Royal Karnian Guard

The Royal Karnian Guard were the elite unit tasked with protecting the Cardia and the Karnian Royal Family. Drawn from only the best and most loyal fighters, they took brutal casualties in the early days of the Morin coup. Whole detachments were poisoned by traitors or led into ambushes. Many died holding the Royal Castle from Morin reinforcements. Almost to a man and woman, every surviving member of the Royal Guard has become a dedicated member of The Resistance and many of their leaders and officers are drawn from the ranks of the survivors.
