Grippli

At the center of the vast Rainbow Marsh is the Rainbow Lake, a huge body of rippling water. And at its shores reside the Grippli, a race of diminutive frog-like humanoids. Their communities tend to be peaceful gentle places, centered around fishing and the worship of their patron Deity the Their alchemist-prophets lead the community through oracular visions, derived from weaving together divine magic and the pharmacological products of the swamp. Despite their peace loving nature, the Grippli are fully capable of defending themselves. The same leaders can channel the Rainbow Mother's blessing into devastating acts of divine wrath, inflicting madness and death on their foes. In recent years the Grippli have been put to the test more often as Theia Commerce Group logging efforts have driven other Rainbow Marsh residents out of their traditional climes. Compared to some of their more predatory neighbors, the Grippli are not physically built for combat. But their inherent poisonous qualities combined with the blessings of the Rainbow Mother and their long alchemical tradition has created a legacy of lasting fear in their foes.
