The Free Cities of Palanthas

The Free Cities is essentially an alliance between four relatively independent city states in the human mainland of Ansalon, led by the royal family in Palanthas. These city-states are Valesburg, Fitchview, Highpond and of course Palanthas itself.
While they call themselves the free cities, that is not technically true to the meaning of the term, since most of the area is part of a feudalistic system under the King of Palanthas.
