Harrowdale

Harrowdale is a relatively small village in the middle of the forest South from the High-Vale Mountains. The road from southern Valesburg province to western Highpond province essentially runs through the center of the city. The village is home to only about 700 people and is governed by a small council. Lord Edmund Alpenscar lives on the North-Western end of town on a small hill in his mansion. As a former knight, he takes a portion of the taxes and serves as a connection between the 'higher ups' in Valesburg and Harrowdale.   Most of the townsfolk are farmers, or are employed by the Harrowdale Brandy Brewery. It exports beverages all across the Valesburg region.

Demographics

Majority human. A few dwarven families have settled to operate a blacksmithing business.

Government

The village has a town hall which houses a small council elected by the villagers. The council makes most of the day to day decisions but ultimately Lord Edmund Alpenscar, the local noble who lives in a manor on a hill close to the village has the final say in things.

Industry & Trade

The Harrowdale Brandy Brewery run by Master Lennard is a major employer in the village.
