Eorame

The Eorame were the first and most powerful being created by the God Eoldyn. They each had four sets of wings, and all were granted the Blessings of Creation and Life, so that they could create whatever their hearts desired, including mortal beings with souls. The Eorame created the land of Atlina, along with the Oruk'dae, the first inhabitants of the land.
The Eorame are immortal, they cannot be killed. Despite this, they can be beaten. If too much of their power is expended at one time or if it is stolen away, the Eorame, and the Koltoros, may be sent into a deep sleep, a slumber that lets them restore their power.
The most honored of the Eorame were the Ark'angellis, who were known as the most creative and most powerful. The greatest of these, Solut rebelled against Eoldyn over an argument over who should rule the mortal realms and sought to conquer Atalana and Akaros. The Eorame fought long and hard against the rebels, and eventually defeated them. After the War of Angels, as it was known, the Eorame had used the vast majority of their power and were forced to retreated back to Akaros.
Thus in the modern age, the Eorame are not present on Atalana physically, though sometimes their minds are able to reach the mortal realm, and they are worshipped.
