Solut

The Pride of Arkaros Solut (a.k.a. The Pride of Arkaros, the Fallen)

Amongst the race of the Eorame, the greatest was Solut, one of the five Ark'angellis, the archangels. More beautiful than the stars in the sky, and more terrifyingly powerful than the unknown depths of the ocean, Solut placed himself above the rest of his kind. As the eons passed by Solut grew more and more prideful. When the Eorame created the world of Atlina, much of it was done by Soluts' hand, as he believed himself to be the ultimate creator, even above the God Eoldyn. Eventually this lead to Solut demanding that he rule the mortal world alone. When Eoldyn denied his request, Solut rebelled, seeking to take over the mortal realms himself.   Solut was described the Oruk'dae as being wreathed in fire, glorious in his crown of fury. With eight wings said to bring wings as strong as hurricanes, Soluts' presence was never hidden on the battlefield. He was loved not only by his former members of the Ark'angellis, but also by the Koltoros who followed him in his rebellion. His clarity of mind, and clear direction as a commander was partly due to the blessing he received, Tekami, an ability that allowed him to see into all places in all realms in a single moment.   Soluts' pride was what lead to his downfall. Believing that he could not be beaten in battle, he often attacked several angels or their servants at the same time, defeating them despite being outnumbered. A trap was sprung and Solut was attacked by the five Ark'angellis simultaneously. They were able to restrain him, taking him to Ak'arundul, the Pits of Eternal Punishment, from where he still plans his escape and conquest of the mortal realms.

Divine Domains

Most of his dealings were in the Arkaros, but after being cast into Ak'arundul, his machinations are mostly based in the mortal realms.

Holy Books & Codes

The Etherios is the holy book of the Church of the Fallen Gods. It speaks of the conquests of the Koltoros, and the divinity of Solut, and how to break open the gates of Ak'arundul. The book also speaks much on how beauty is to be, all in light of the thoughts of Solut, and what he believed what beauty was.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The primary holy (or unholy, depending on what you believe) symbol of the Ak'arundul-kulan, is a five tipped star with the five points slightly farther than the edge of the circle. It symbolizes how Solut is greater than even the five Ark'angellis combined.

Holidays

The largest of holy days is Mid-Winters day, when the day is longest. On this day the believers contemplate on what beauty means and how their god is unjustly imprisoned.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

The common belief amongst the believers of Ak'arundul-kulan is that true beauty is to be found by finding the mind of Solut, and bringing it back to the mortal realm. Those higher in the church, however, know that the true purpose is to free Solut from his imprisonment and allow him to once again wage a war to retake the Atalana.
