Lady Sofia Lopez
Origin
Sofia was born (December 20, 3882) to Ruben Reyes and Maria Lopez. Her father was an Elven man and had wished for a son with which to advance his family line in Ithacan politics. Maria was, however, unable to have anymore children and Sofia's father became distant and indifferent towards his daughter. She grew much closer to her uncle Lupe and aunt Vivian. On her 16th birthday (3898), she was spurned by her father when he didn't even show up and confessed that she wished Lupe had been her father instead.
In her late teens, Sofia became increasingly aware of the divide between the noble and the lower classes, the abused committed by the former on the latter. Her mother was a gentle soul from which Sofia inherited most of her kindness in spite of her father. When she was 20 (3903), her father wanted to position her to be wed to the prince, who had recently lost his bride in a riding accident. She refused, and he threatened one of the homeless boys that she had been sneaking food and money to on a regular basis. After helping the boy to flee, she decided to run away from home and convinced her uncle to come with her.
After two years of traveling the world, Sofia and Lupe were trekking through the Ungese jungle outskirts when they found Lurch, half-dead, and nursed him back to health. He continued on as her stalwart guardian after she rescued him and left the jungle with them.
Eventually, Sofia came to the Seraphiim Dominion and, on a whim, decided to sign up with Black's Company.
