The Vital Force

Kit's understanding of martial arts allows her to harness the mystical soul energy of ch’i. Her access to this energy is represented by a number of ch’i points. She can spend these points to fuel various ch’i features. She start knowing three such features: Flurry of Blows, Patient Defense, and Step of the Wind. When she spends a ch’i point, it is unavailable until she finishes a short or long rest, at the end of which she draws all of her expended ch’i back into herself. She must spend at least 30 minutes of the rest meditating to regain her ch’i points.

Versatile Strike

When Kit makes an unarmed attack, she may choose whether the weapon deals bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, independent of what the weapon would normally deal.

Chakra Attack

Kit knows where to hit the body to make it hurt far beyond normal blows. On a successful attack, she can choose to do an additional 1d6 necrotic damage. This can only be done once per round.

Description

Kit was an Adacian rural and disciple of Montu, the god of war. She was an accomplished martial artist and twin sister of Manu.

Kit arrived in Demophon some months ago, an itinerant emigrant alongside her brother. During her time there, she was discovered by the Avatar of Sekhmet, seeking to use her as an agent against Amon, who he knew would arrive there. When he did, she was forced to spy on him. The Avatar ordered her to get close and transcribe a copy of the tattoo on the back of his neck, which he had gotten from Ma'at when turning away from Sekhmet. She attempted to challenge him to single combat to do so in a fighting pit, but failed, falling back to asking him to come back to her room and sleep with him. Later, Amon and Lurch confronted her and she revealed the truth. Amon helped rescue her and her brother from the Avatar, and let them take shelter in the Plain Cup.
