Jazelle
Origin
Jazelle was born to a large tribe of tabaxi in rural Ithaca. They moved around a lot in the countryside, mostly due to persecutions from local population centers. At some point, when she was older, she attempted to steal a nice bauble from a city merchant that took her fancy and was caught and thrown in the local town jail. A figure appeared to her overnight, a black panther-like tabaxi who stood seven feet tall draped in shadows like a cloak. He offered her a way out, and power, if she would become his disciple. Convinced of this Cat God, she agreed and was able to leap from shadow to shadow as if nothing, making her escape. Some time later, an old wise woman in her tribe was teaching her how to read fortunes with the Taroh and realized that every reading was the same whenever Jazelle was near: the Tower, death and destruction and misfortune. She was coaxed to leave, being cursed as she was, and resolved to locate the Cat God again, hoping to find answers.
