Operation Details

Sent to go investigate Aethelar. We set out west, and with little issue. Our first issue cam when we came across a bridge with barracks and cannons. We found a single person manning the bridge. He charged 100 gold to cross, and we were told this was not a merchant route. So there is another route heading westward. We continued west until we reached the coast and found a 60-foot-tall stone break.   From there we went north and found Aethelar. We spoke with a gravedigger named, Alfitzer. He took us to lady Amara. He led us to an immaculate chapel of Umberlee. There we met with Lady Amara. She summoned the council, so we left with Alfitzer. There was second person in the chapel with her. He was not introduced. When we left Amara said the name, Borial. Borial does not like our group. He does not want help from outsiders.   We found out that the “evil” was starving their people, and the battle they were waging against Holyhead. We met with the council. Mr. Killick, leader of the House of Waverlee(I think), convinced Amara to allow us to prove ourselves. Even though thy are followers of Umberlee Amara seems somewhat pleasant. Return the cart to Druid’s by the Warf. We lost the cart for the camp but traded it for another cart from Aethelar. We may have a trade agreement with them. Estimated 1000-2000 gold worth of textiles, food, no weapons. In exchange we bring the cart back and trade the cart out. We bring gold and goods. They will purchase the goods and give a new cart for us to take. We encountered a swampy where we heard screaming. We tried to save what looked like a courier, but he was already dead. We killed the two fish-type creatures. Once we all got on the small island area we were ambushed by 5 fish-type monster. These monsters are the ones that have been attacking the town. It may be a good idea to send a group to take of this problem as show of good faith towards the potential ally.   Major is leaving it to us on how to handle Aethelar. If nothing else we can inform the camp to have potential parties to go to the area to assist the town with the problems with Holyhead, the attacks from the south that Aethelar is suffering. So potential missions to come of this.   For now though, Dragana thinking he may have a potential friend in Alfitzer, the gravedigger will be continuing to improve relations with Aethelar. Farolt, will also be continuing to improve the relationship with the town. Alexander will also be continuing to improve the relationship with the town. The goal of the trade is to provide this town with basic goods to live while giving them a guiding hand to protect themselves. The best way to do this to provide basic weapons and resources rather than gold. If we can bring a healthy amount of lumber with us back to the town as well as some gold to help them bolster their town, I fully believe that we may have a strong new ally. If anyone has any other ideas feel free to let one of us know as this will be a team effort to make the best ally we can.   Lady Amara- head of the council Borial- does not like outsiders, and does not want us there. Potential problem Killick- silver tongued and convinced Amara to have us prove ourselves to the cause of Aethelar. (Does not think there is a problem with Holyhead attacking the town. He calls the weak. Potential problem and/or spy for Holyhead.) (Sheepish and scared. He seemed like another potential spy, or just a coward.)   One of () is Elias.
