Objective
Reports implied two former Horsa soldiers have settled in Lehigh and are running the bar/tavern.
Observations
We had to pay yet another toll (gold) to convince one of the two individuals to potentially show up at the embassy at around midnight. We don't have a guarantee that they will show, just a promise that they are "cleared" to join us.
Follow up
We met a very interesting woman named Bazrah in the bar/tavern. She was obviously rich and influential given everyone just seemed to follow her requests.
Preparation Details
None, this was not what we had intended on doing, but Aujirgix seemed to be the best person to attempt this due to his knowledge of the two suspected people.
Operation Details
Traveled north to the Embassy. Spoke with Taylor, the current caretaker of the embassy. He is in service to the current Lord of Waterdeep, Lariel Silverhand, the wife of the late Mage Kelbin.
HALe heard some really interesting pinging that seemed to vibrate the air every 15-20 seconds. This was first heard leading to the city and continued to be heard while in the city. This was not the noise that came form the blacksmith shop in the city.
We visited the tavern and encountered the two operators. Aujirgix was able to confirm that they were the two we were looking for. They had us give them names; Devin and Darren.
We were introduced to Bazrah while we were waiting. She managed to get anything she requested.
We secured their agreement to be returned to the camp. They did not show up. Apparently Jacob was ill informed or not supposed to hear anything regarding this. The mission was a success for us though.
