House Firflewski has deep roots in Regent’s Field, traditionally known as an agricultural heartland. The house rose to prominence over 150 years ago when Sir Edrick Firflewski aided Queen Alicia Kendrick in her battle against Kazgoroth, earning the family nobility and stewardship over Regent's Field. During the recent conflict, Regent’s Field suffered devastating damage from spellfire and darkness, leaving its farmlands barren.
Lord Donovan Firflewski inherited his title under difficult circumstances. His father, Lord Aldric Firflewski, sustained grave injuries in the war and eventually succumbed to his wounds, leaving 26-year-old Donovan as the new lord. Despite his youth, Donovan has pivoted Regent’s Field’s focus from agriculture to commerce, capitalizing on its central location and proximity to Fort Vegapath as a trade gateway to the south.

Background: Before inheriting his title, Donovan was a respected adventurer known for his unmatched archery skills and his ability to track and hunt through Alaron’s wilds. He traveled extensively, taking on mercenary work, defending villages, and even journeying through the dark forests and coastal cliffs that few dared to explore. His reputation as Alaron’s best archer is widely acknowledged, and his skills have earned him both fame and admiration. When his father fell to his injuries, Donovan returned to Regent’s Field, determined to protect and rebuild his home. His outsider perspective and hands-on approach have given him a unique vision for Regent’s Field’s future.

Governance and Policies

Despite his initial discomfort with noble duties, Donovan’s adaptability has allowed him to transition Regent’s Field into a trade-focused economy. Drawing from his travels and alliances, he has fostered a culture of commerce and innovation.
