Objective

lay siege and raid the docks of Blythe

Observations

Cobh has had a monster attack. Between visits some THING came from the water and took 3 Kendrick soldiers. We investigated but found not significant evidence. Recommended they increase guard around the shipyards.

Follow up

Cobh may need a dedicated security mission.

Operation Details

After the investigation of Cobh we continued to sail south to Blythe. Even at sea, we could see the Snowdown darkness has moved forward.





Once we crossed the darkness Sebastian the ghost reappeared on the deck of the Snowbreaker, having no memory of his time from his disappearance two days earlier.

We talked and it appears Sebastian died some time ago, not even aware of the fall of Waterdeep. We tested and found that Sebastian seems to have no corporeal form, at least not able to attack.





To keep the Snowbreaker out of harms way we anchored the ship a few hundred yards from the harbor and walked the remaining distance in. Once in we did fall under archery fire and monster attack; 2 large creatures and a couple of jelly fish mages with the squad of archers.

We set fire to 1 ship, blew a hole into a 2nd, started the dock themselves on fire and started a central building on fire.





Once fires lit and primary dock personnel were dispatched, we returned to base before reinforcements arrived.





Sebastian faded away when we left the darkness again.
