Serethen

Serethen is a large village in southern Tsaescen that lies at the bottom of the Twin Paths. Its stone architecture and sprawling network of mountain passages resemble that of Andolay's Yuan-Ti heritage - and as such many Yuan-Ti and Yuan-Ti Purebloods live within the settlement.
Serethen is seen as a holy site by many of its citizens as it is said that the mountains contain the resting place of Tsaescen himself. Myth states that Tsaescen struck a deal with Galoden and Karkosa before they gave up their corporeal forms to the realm of Soldaana and shattering their micro-sphere of Etheria. It is unclear what details comprised the deal, but Tsaescen remained behind at the departure sight of the siblings who ascended into the heavens before dispersing - leaving spires of ice and stone behind them. These spires are known as The Twin's Path and consist of Little Brother and Big Sister.

Demographics

This village has a large presence of Yuan-Ti but also boasts many dwarves, gnomes, elves, and genasi who have come from Ebonrock, Andolay, and Ellidell to study and excavate the wonders of the Twin's Path.
