Titan-Class Fuel Tanker
The Titan-Class Fuel Tanker is the largest support ship in the Imperial Navy, they are designed to carry a large amount of fuel, their purpose being to keep the different battlegroups of the Navy fueled up during long campaigns.
They are built for efficiency, resilience and some versatility. Each battlegroup will typically have 1-3 Titans included in the support fleet, depending on the length of the mission and in what regions they are to operate as some of the border regions are very sparely developed ad populated meaning that there can be a long way between bases big enough to supply a battlegroup with the right amount of fuel.
Due to the Titans being designed to operate with the fleet, their fuel tanks are designed with the highest level of security in mind when it comes to the fuel, the individual tanks all consist of a honeycomb structure meaning that not only are the tanks resistant to impacts weather are rounds fired at it, micro meteorites or debris, it also means that should one of the tanks being ruptured, it will only be the comparative small section that is affected and not the entire tank.
During emergencies, the Titans can be modified to carry water or other critical resources during humanitarian missions such as when the Velus asteroid impacted the world of Papus in the Papus systems, the impact of the asteroid hit the main continent of the world and the following firestorm destroyed much infrastructure, the Aquilius battlegroup were on a mission nearby and when the call came, they modified two of their Titans to being able to carry water and other resources needed and within two weeks arrived in orbit over the planet.
Power Generation
Ausonius-class fusion reactor provide the ship with both enough power to run the parts of the ship where the crew operates and the other systems of the ship.
Propulsion
Dual heavy-duty drives that are optimized for fuel efficiency rather than speed.
Weapons & Armament
As they are designed to operate in potentially contested space, but still being behind the frontlines, the weapons and armament of the class are limited to ECM (Electronic Counter measures) to evade targeting and 12 automated point defence turrets for defence against missiles and fighters.
Armor and defense
20 cm of ablative composite planting and reinforced plating around critical systems such as the fuel tanks, and engines.
Additional & auxiliary systems
Two extendable fueling booms equipped with universal docking systems for ship-to-ship refueling.
Hangars & docked vessels
Some Titans have been modified by those battlegroups that operate them to also be able to carry one or two F-23 Nightingale as these battlegroups operate in a highly contested space which means that all ships operating there needs to be armed as much as they can and having the tankers carry their own fighter escort means that they might buy the rest of the fleet some extra time to come to the aid.

I love the idea that they can be modified to carry water and stuff.

Thank you :) Got the idea from reading that oil tankers might do one final trip carrying grain or similar
