Estara system

The Estara system is a system located on the fringes of human-controlled space, it was first discovered back in 2043 when scientists discovered planets orbiting the star GX-4762734 which was later named Estara in 2046.   It was later discovered that the star had 5 planets orbiting it, two rocky planets and 3 gas giants. The system was first visited by probes in 2219 and recreved its first human visitors in 2317 which nearly resulted in the loss of the expedition as shortly after the the ship had entered the system, the sensors detected that the radiation was rising and the ship managed to jump out of the system before a large solar flare rose from the star.

Pyrrhis

The closest rocky planet to the star, orbiting it every 87 days

Scoria

The second rocky planet is located in the Goldilocks zone of the star but to the nature of the star, the planet is a barren rock, orbiting every 400 days

Zephyros

The first of the gas giants, the planet has a very muted blue appearance, several storms travel around the planet, the biggest having been named Great Blue Spot, which orbits the star every 174 years

Galene

Second, of the gas giants and the largest of the plants in the system, like Zephyros, Galene has a muted blue appearance, other than its size, Galene also have a large set of plenary rings that scientists suspect are the remnants of some of the early protoplanets. orbits the planet every 185 years

Titanus

Despite the image the name could lead one to have, Titanus is the smallest of the gas plants and it takes the appearance of a small muted brown mudball, orbits the star every 240 years

Localized Phenomena

The system is uninhabited and is labelled as unsuited for long-term human occupation as the star in the centre of the system is prone to large-scale solar flares that bathe the inner planets in deadly radiation and send waves of radiation out throughout the system making it nearly impossible to settle.
