ESS Ducky Mallard

ESS Ducky Mallard is a light destroyer in the Empire of Earth navy, manufactured on Mars, the ship belongs to the Mallard-class of light destroyers.
The ship combines some heavy armament with high speed, sacrificing protection, due to the small size of the ships and their weak protection their favoured tactic is wolfpack where they gang up on larger warships and overwhelm their targets with a barrage of fire.
The ESS Ducky Mallard is commanded by Captain Sean Spencer, a well-known destroyer captain and an expert in the favoured destroyer tactic of the wolfpacks.
Like so many of the ships in the Imperial navy, the ESS Ducky Mallard has a figure painted on the side of the ship, in the Ducky Mallards case, this figure takes the shape of a duck surfing on a missile.
