Jena is King Leon's support in all matters. While the King may take on the full responsibilities of ruling over the kingdom, Jena is his eyes and ears that watch his back. Though the Talbains are beloved rulers, there are many enemies in the criminal underground that wish to take them down. Powerful criminal organizations that stretch and reach into the higher levels of power and kingdoms.
Jena is also a powerful caster and was tutored by Mindy Solfored herself as a fighter, thus is able to hold her own with a blade. She loves her children immensly and wishes they would get along better.
As far as casters go, Jena and Poji are considered the strongest casters in Polaria and both have had dealings with the Wizards Conclave. While the Queen agrees with most of the Conclave's ideas concerning magic and its policies, she belives each kingdom's rules concerning spell use should overule the Wizards Conclave. Rulers of cities know better the culter and apects of their people and cities than do overseers thousands of miles away.
Jena tries to visit the citizens of the city and keep up with public relations. Many people voice their problems and concerns to her and she does her best to alleviate the situation so that the King can handle his main rulership duties concerning the greater parts of the Kingdom.
