Lux's
The bar is lit by bare bulbs hanging from the ceiling in lines along the exposed beams. Small lags of various countries hang from the ceiling. String lights are wrapped around wooden poles. There is a collection of round tables filled with patrons to the left side of the room, to the right there's a long bar; a shelf hangs above the bar, filled with bottles of various liquors and large kegs of beer sit on the floor below. The smell of cooked meats and toasted bread fills your nose, combated by the slightly bitter scent of beers and liquors. Warmth seeps into your skin, spewing from a woodburning furnace behind the bar. A sea of voices washes over you; a few people pause and turn their heads to glance at you before returning to their drinks. A winged automaton whizzes around the room, carrying large platters of food and slinging them onto tables. A pale white Dragonborn and a dark-skinned Dwarf stand behind the bar and chat idly while the Dwarf wipes down a stein.
Design
A 40ft by 60ft rectangular room with large windows looking out onto the main street of the city. The floor is made of a dark tile that mimics hardwood; it's covered in numerous scuff marks and patches of the floor are still covered in a cloudy, thin layer of wax. The walls are made of grey stone masonry that looks as if at one point it was covered in a layer of mortar, but it has now flaked into ruin. The ceiling is a conventional wooden flat ceiling with exposed beams.

That beginning excerpt really painted a picture in my mind and set the tone for the article, very well written.(there is a typo at the end of it though, you say "behind the dwarf" instead of "behind the bar") Also, those ***tails sounds delicious, I wonder if I could make my own version of them. Lovely article!
