Styrbjorn Vardr

Styrbjorn Vardr (a.k.a. The Red Wolf of Skokyen)

Styrbjorn Vardr earned his name and legend during the The Submission of Fjornheim and Skogyen (540–550 EA), where he led campaigns instrumental in the annexation of Skogyen into the Kingdom of Nordheim. A master of battlefield strategy and brutal precision, his presence alone was said to break sieges and still rebellion. To those he defended, he was a stalwart shield. To those he conquered, an unstoppable predator.

Known as The Red Wolf for the color of his bloodstained cloak and his relentless ferocity, Styrbjorn’s legacy is one of contradiction — both protector and oppressor, hero and tyrant. His name still echoes in drinking halls and war camps, a reminder of Nordheim’s iron grip on the frontier.

With his campaigns concluded and coffers full, he retired to Skogyen, where he established Vardr Clan as minor nobility in the region. Though long absent from the battlefield, tales of Styrbjorn’s deeds remain sharp in the memory of those who lived through his era.
