Eindred Vardr

Godsworn Eindred Vardr (a.k.a. The Lone Terror)

Eindred Vardr is a mythic figure even among the Godsworn—an elite warrior whose presence was once enough to silence entire battlefields. Unlike Einar Vardr, Eindred never sought peace or hearth. He was driven by a relentless hunger for truth—about his family, the gods, and what lies beneath Solacea’s stories.

Eindred operated for years as a solitary agent of the Godsworn, vanishing into the deepest wilds and returning only when he had torn some great secret from the earth or slain something no man dared name. Some say he speaks to trees and stones, that beasts refuse to meet his gaze, and that even the gods grew wary of what he began to uncover.

While Styrbjorn Vardr, The Red Wolf, embodied strength and loyalty, and Einar Vardr sought meaning in peace, Eindred turned inward—haunted, perhaps, by the stories of his grandfather Thrain Vardr, The Mad Fox. Some believe Eindred found evidence of his grandfather's heresies, and that it shattered him. Others say he welcomed the madness, seeing in Thrain’s ramblings a hidden path meant only for Vardr blood to walk.

He has not been seen in years, though whispers of a silver-eyed figure with a massive blade and a Godsworn cloak persist—across northern ruins, over frozen bridges, and deep in forgotten vaults. If he's still around, no one seems to know if he's still doing the bidding of The Prophet of Wodyn or if he's taken his own path.
