Jarl Ulfren

(a.k.a. Ironblood)

Known for his iron resolve and unyielding sense of duty, Jarl Ulfren Ironblood . A veteran of The Storm of Oaths and known for his austere demeanor, Ulfren upholds the old ways of discipline, order, and sacrifice. His hall is a place of cold hospitality, where oaths are sworn over iron rather than ale - though there is plenty of that.

Ulfren’s warriors are famed for their relentless patrols and harsh training, producing some of the finest shieldmen in the city. He views Nordheim’s growing decadence with contempt, and speaks often of the need to return to a life of hardship to harden the people against what lurks in the dark forests and mountains. Some call him a relic of the past, others call him the last true son of the North.

He serves dutifully the high Jarls and keeps much of the law and order in Nordheim with his Stone Shields. However, it is said he has recently taken on more raiding and is recruiting new drengrs to his service.
