Gavin
High flier aerial acrobat for the now defunct circus troupe, Wartooth's Wayward Wonderment.
In the circus, Gavin felt pretty comfortable with his position as the sole flying acrobat. His expert dexterity and impressive physique allowed him to perform many flashy stunts involving manipulation of the air around him to create mini vortexes with interesting elements or items inside. He would very occasionally work with others like Cia to make tornados of fire, or Lucinda to create deluges that he would burst out of in a cinematic finale. These acts were done under the fitting stage name, Storm.
On the day Rakel was found, he tried to argue against her adoption. Gavin feared at the time she would be his replacement in secret, but kept repeating the troupe were "Performers, not babysitters". Overturned in the argument, Rakel was adopted into the troupe and under orders from Tegmund he was tasked with teaching her the ins and outs of aerial acrobatics. When she eventually became good enough to perform, they would begin a joint act together. Sharing the spotlight with someone else, let alone a child at the time, was severely irritating to him. After a performance the two would head backstage and he would harshly criticize the various things he noticed Rakel doing differently or slightly off, finding any reason to come out on top. The lessons and onstage relationship were strained as a result. There were times, however, he would have her fly alongside him while the caravan was traveling to teach her the Aarakocra and Auran languages.
In the years to come he would finally regain his solo acts. He was ecstatic to be free of Rakel duties, and coexistence was eventually possible through time apart, though he did still resent her publicity. In the off seasons some of the troupe would go back to visit families, but Gavin would be one of the few to stay behind. One night in the fall of 1266, the caravan would be attacked by a rival troupe called The Magpie Mill Mummers.
An alarm sounded and Gavin leaped into action. But he soon found himself occupied by another aerial combatant, Lucifer. Though he was very strong and agile, he was no match for his assailant. Lucifer had deadly aim with throwing daggers which grounded Gavin, later overpowering the osprey and killing him. He would be left in the smoldering ruins of the caravan.
