Aarakocra

Aarakocra are an ethnic tribe of avian Beastmen, characterized by their 6 limbs (2 arms, 2 legs, 2 wings) and predatory features. They typically stand between 4 and 5 feet tall, have 3 long, thick fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand, each tipped with talons, and beaked mouths. The most distinguishing feature of Aarakocra is their elaborate tribal markings, which convey what area and family they belong to. The lack of facial markings is looked down upon in Aarakocra tribes; the term "barefaced" refers to one who is beguiling or not to be trusted. It is also a slang term for politicians, and those who share the markings of the infamous Magpies of Vulture's Corpse. Most Aarakocra are found in Jacktree Thicket, Hawkhead Island, and The Kingswood.
