Artemis
Artemis is a Beastman and a member of the Workers' Union in Crossroads. She owns a shop in the Crystal Villa where she works as a mechanic, gear mage, and gunsmith. She is a friend to Edward Radcliffe and the Party.
In 1266, she was a part of the Battle for Crossroads, and aided the cause by working with the Union to upgrade The Sovereign Citizen with a high-powered magnetic field generator. Having lived through the battle, Artemis has been entrusted with leading a priority research task force for the Union, in conjunction with the new heads of the Guild of Commerce.

Personal history
While not much is known about Artemis' past, it is clear that some accident befell her or she was injured in some way. Both of her arms have been replaced by mechanical prosthetics, and she wears a patch over her missing right eye.
She has an abrasive sense of humor, preferring to insult those around her to amuse herself, with Edward being one of her favorite punching bags. She often forms impressions of people based on the first interaction she has with them, and has a great memory for mistakes, both her own and any that happen in her presence.
