Argynvostholt

Argynvostholt is a fortified mansion belonging to Argynvost, and was the headquarters of the formerly good and heroic Order of the Silver Chain. However, it was besieged by Strahd Von Zarovich and his forces during his conflict with the Order, who were slain along with their commander, Horngaard Moreau, and Argynvost himself. It became the dwelling place for the revenants, led by Horngaard and reanimated by their hatred for the cursed Vampire host of Barovia.
Though they have been put to rest, Argynvost's spirit lingers on in his mausoleum at the ruins of Argynvostholt. His spirit shines on the tower's top as the Beacon of Argynvost, and can be seen from many locations within Barovia.
