Democratic Parliament of Luna Navy
Overview
The Democratic Parliament of Luna Navy (DPLN) is the naval wing of the Democratic Parliament of Luna military. While once the largest navy in space, the number of Lunaren ships in the sky has dwindled over the years as well as their ability to rebuild and reoutfit ships. This has lead to the Democratic Republic of Luna having the oldest navy in the system, an issue that they have been working to rectify with ongoing moderniztion efforts, however the years have caused the ships to grow outdated even after they've been upgraded. The focus on upgrading existing ships has put a massive wrench in the Lunarens ability to build new ships as well.

Facilities
- Base: Headquarters of the DPL Navy localed in Revoluna.
- Rensvol Naval Base: Naval base on Luna's surface.
- John Ridley-Spence Station: Orbital naval station around Luna.
- Loftus Naval Station: Station orbits between the asteroid belt and Jupiter and acts as the furthest out Lunaren military facility in the system.
- Jackson Crater Shipyards: Only naval owned shipyard on Luna.
Fleets
- Central Fleet: The main fleet of the navy, normally found close to Luna
- Outer Fleet: A taskforce fleet that is deployed out past the asteroid belt at Loftus Naval Station.

The personnel of the DPL Navy are broken into two categories: Officers consisting of commissioned and high ranking members of the naval force; the remaining are categorized as enlisted and consists of all occupations and ranks through Lieutenant.

History
The Lunaren navy at one point held the title of largest spaceship navy (years), from the Lunar Revolutionary War up until the setback during Second Martian Revolution and the loss of their Ares Shipyard. The title the the navy still holds however is that ships from the DPLN have served in more conflicts than any other navy in Sol System.
