The Stone of Teffali

In a military sense, the Stone of Teffali is what a general would refer to as a 'Nightmare'. Nearly a mile across, made out of bedrock and quartz, surrounded by reefs, and three hundred feet tall cliffs on all sides. And that's just what nature formed.

Geography

A natural structure of granite and bedrock that stands south of Fiadhaich. Many have owned the island, but none have put it to as effective use as the Teffali people. A mile across, and worn to smoothness by a sea that has not been high enough to do so since the beginning of recorded history. Surrounded by coral reefs sharp enough to shred the hulls of modern-day ships, and unpredictable riptides that throw battleships around like a child and their toys.

Artificial elements include a heavily defended dock built in the side of the Stone, including a colossal steel door. 120 12mm coastal guns are installed in emplacements both on the top of the stone and in the cliffsides. Many of the riptides have been stirred up by Teffali Tide-Callers and can be directed towards the enemy

Fauna & Flora

No flora or fauna to speak of. A few different species of seabirds, and many different species of fish in the surrounding waters, though none stand out in rarity.

Nothing of considerable size can make it through the reefs around the stone, providing protection against the largest of the ocean predators of Sol Nua, such as the Salt Water Kraken and Leviathan. Smaller predators, such as Transistor Squid and Gessal Crayfish, can find their way through and must still be protected against.

Natural Resources

The stone quarried here can be sold at a high price for its inherent magic and natural strength and beauty.

The surrounding coral is used for jewelry and other cosmetic purposes.

Fishing is the main food source in the area.
