The Mineta Family

The oldest crime family in Bankshaw proper, the Minetas have fingers in pies across the country, even though they've been reduced in the last few decades.
It should not be said that they're weak, by any means, but President Hiram Kincaid had made a point to crack down on crime across the nation, especially in his own backyard.
As crime families go, especially powerful ones, the Mineta's have been rather demur. Preferring to throw their weight around only when necessary, allowing the cops to forget about them for a time, before someone does something that requires a strong response from the family.
In the past two years, the Holden Crime Family has tried to step on the toes of the Mineta, with some success. The Mineta's have not done much to stop some actions, which is causing other crime groups to become more bold, though the wiser ones are maintaining the status quo.
