Clothing Enchantment

While not what the average laymen or even magic users might consider a technology, Clothing enchantment has become an ever more present part of society. Outmoding many things such as plate armor (Though you can still find it in use by the Knights of Avalon), enchantments of clothing mean that one need not sacrifice function for form, nor the other way around.   It's not all tux that won't ever stain and boots that are completely fireproof, however, as each enchantment causes clothing to grow in weight. Most commonly attributed to having to tie said piece of clothing more heavily into the Tapestry than it would be naturally, a piece of clothing will feel closer and closer to a thick lead blanket the more it is enchanted.   Paradoxically, however, this increase of weight seems to only affect the senses. Place a heavily enchanted leather coat onto a scale and it will weigh the same that it did before being enchanted. Put it on, however, and you might feel like you can't even move.
