Choir Singers
I have never had an enemy sing as we fought. As we closed into hand to hand, a hymnal could be heard above the din of battle. As Labishi and I crossed blades with a massive man who sung in baritone, his voice never broke. Even as Labishi ran him through the stomach, the smooth tones of his section of the song didn't quite. As his innards spilled across the ground, and the song reached a crescendo, he stabbed Labishi so hard that part of the barrel of his gun pierced his chest, then cracked me across the jaw, knocking me out cold. As I thought on the song I realized, they have a very good bass section, but their top tenors could use some work.
