Aranea
The finest clothing, softest silks, and the scariest inhabitants I have ever seen. That is Arachne in a nutshell. Whatever created the Aranea made them both beautiful and terrifying to behold. Their grace is unmatched, moving with a fluidity that even the elves struggle to keep up with. Their silk is of the highest quality in the world, and their weaving lasts forever. Cute though.

History
Up until the Age of Exploration, little to nothing was known about the Spiderfolk and their nation of Arachne. Mostly because the rest of the world was terrified by their presence. It is good that in the last few centuries have led to the decline of the 'evil' image that surrounded the demi-human and monstrous races, or we might have never opened up discussion with the Spiderfolk. Turns out the old adage of 'they're more afraid of you, than you are of them' still applies, even when talking about half-human half-spider hybrids the size of a horse.
As with the other Demi-human races, the Spiderfolk were dumped onto Khagra in relatively few numbers. Forced to flee into the Autumnmere Woods to avoid the riled up Orc tribes, they found themselves alone in a hostile world without their mother. In the faith of the Spiderfolk, they are all born from a singular mother, Arathea. According to Spiderfolk theologists, Arathea was very much involved with her children before the Relmshatter, and the fact that they did not end up on the same plane severely hindered the Spiderfolk's ability to provide for themselves. They would not give up, however, and while they maintained the hope that Arathea would find them in their new hell, they could not wallow amongst the dark trees they now resided in. They put their weaving skills to good use immediately, spinning string and rope to make traps to catch prey. While on their home plane, they would have simply weaved their homes out of their webbing, they showed the forcite to construct their abodes out of materials that would survive Sol Nua's extreme weather.
Just as the final logs were being put in place, the Spiderfolk's first challenge reared it's tusked head. A tribe of Orcs, pushed off of the plains of Khagra, had made their way into the forest and had seen the smoke coming from the fires of the newly christened settlement of Shreshilva. Unable to communicate in any meaningful way, they would have to defend their home. As the Spiderfolk lay their traps, ambushing the unknowing Orcs, they were unknowingly weaving the legend that would both protect and isolate them from a majority of the world.
Don't go into the Autumnmere Woods if you wish to come out again.
Obviously the Spiderfolk managed to repel the Orc tribe, or the nation of Aranea would not exist. In the current era, the Spiderfolk continue to use their weaving to their benefit. While they aren't weaving tripwires and traps (usually), the clothing and raw silk that comes out of Aranea is the best in the world. The richest reagent barons and most famous actors all wear the silks provided by the Spiderfolk. Their whole nation revolves around the exportation of these products and for some, a never-ending war to develop the next popular trend in clothing.
