Airships

Utility

They are used for everything. Warfare, shipping, leisure, you name it. In fact, they are one of the safest ways to traverse the world, though nothing is without it's dangers in Sol Nua.

Manufacturing

A dedicated facility must first be constructed, before anything. Once the air yard is in place, teams of workers will work for months to get an airship in working order. Several teams will lay metal and wood, riveting them into place, while several more who are trained in magic will work on the flight plates. Engraving the needed enchantments, then sealing them below metal plating for protection. Once those are fixed in place, then, and only then, is the ship ready for flight.

Complexity

Both the construction of an Airship, and the concepts that govern their function, are highly complicated in nature.
