Guardian Corps
The Guardian Corps are made up of shifters who have not been paired with their own Gifted to protect. They provide security for high profile Covenant members and events, and undertake various special operations and monitor for any activity likely to expose the existence of either the Gifted or shifters.
Their current legal cover is as a private security division of Aquila Industries that provides integrated security, mission support and risk management. To maintain this cover, they maintain a Strategic Support Operations unit that provides these services to the human population, at exorbitant rates. They're considered the best in the business, largely because of the shifters that outperform human agents in almost every arena.
Structure
The Guardian Corps is a worldwide organisation, with its headquarters in New York City, New York.
It's structure and leadership are based on chess pieces, with the different colours representing different parts of the organisation.
The Black side looks after the training and support for Guardians with a Gifted ward, whereas the White side has responsibility over the investigative and Strategic Support Operations units.
