History
Pigmen were created by the combined efforts of the Great Spirits of Nature and Heavens to make a sapient, humanoid species. The Spirit of Nature changed the pigs' bodies, and the Spirit of the Heavens added to their souls the spark of sapience. The pigmen would go on to live in numerous tribes, wandering the world, hunting and gathering before splitting into different variants.
Most of the humanoid races are descendants of the pigmen in one way or another. The as the pigmen settled down, the different populations adapted in different ways.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
When the younger species began to appear, the pigmen thought of them as lesser beings, and would enslave them to perform numerous tasks of difficult labor. This would be their downfall when the Humans rebelled against them, starting the Pigman-Human wars and eventually driving the remaining members of the pigman species into the nether
